Johannesburg - Award-winning seasoned thespian Vatiswa Ndara's highly anticipated memoir about the exploitations and harsh working conditions in the South African entertainment industry is experiencing a technical glitch.
The autobiography which was meant to be launched, yesterday, hasn't gone live on digital platforms as expected on the announced date.
The actress took to Instagram yesterday to announce to the eagerly awaiting prospective readers of the book that it is already published on Take a lot, but it is taking a bit longer to go live.
"Unfiltered is published on Take a lot, it is just taking a bit longer to appear than expected.
"I really apologise for the delay and I appreciate your patience. As a person who's not exactly tech savvy I'm learning as I go along, I assumed, unprovoked by the way that after it's uploaded it would take just a couple of hours for people to access the book.
"This process unfortunately is out of my hands, but I will follow up tomorrow if it's still not live. Thank you for your support guys and please just be patient. The book will be there," she said.
Unfiltered was sparked by Ndara's open letter - published on social media - to the then minister of Arts and Culture at the time, the late minister Nathi Mthethwa, six years ago, highlighting the challenges faced by the artistic community in South Africa.
